Imageable Area
I need to print on a Phaser 7300 printer in Tabloid format. I cannot seem to change the imageable area from the few default choices. Tabloid is not one of them. I tried to set a custom size but it doesn't seem to save the choice. When I go into the illustrator file and choose the imageable area it will not resize. Any help appreciated. (I even went into the PPD and change the default on the printer to Tabloid.)

Yes, you are correct. The bleed would be easier to figure out just by taking the extra area, 10mm (235-225=10, 180-170=10) and dividing it by two... -

You know there is more than one version of Illustrator. The reason no one responded is they don't understand your problem as you sort of kept a lot of info private.

The phrase "changed the default on the printer" made me kind of think Windows OS or OSX.
