imageable area / page tile
I just upgraded to illustrator 10, and cannot figure out how to change the imageable area to
1/4" all around instead of 9/16" on the bottom and 1/4" on the other sides. This poses a problem with some of my files. In 9 you could change this in the page setup -- by clicking "centered". Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Re: imageable area / page tile
Cathie,
From the dimensions you give it sounds like you are printing to an Inkjet or desktop type printer. The imageable area is controled by the default printer that you have selected.

Re: imageable area / page tile
When I try to send it to the Epson printer I cannot adjust the imageable area -- (it leaves a big space at the bottom) whereas in version 9 you could adjust it. If I print to the laser printer it is fine. :OI

Are you using the page tool under the hand tool at the bottom?

Re: imageable area / page tile
In Separation setup you might be able to change the margins. You can also drag out the box in that little picture window it shows in there.
