ImageReady funky with Dreamweaver
I've been using ImageReady and Dreamweaver for years to develop web sites. But all of a sudden, when I would place an image on a web page in DW, it would turn up as a broken image. The height and width would not resolve correctly either. The problem was completely inconsistent, happening on some image and not others, with no apparent common thread between them.
My first thought was that this was a problem with DW. So I posted a series of questions on the Macromedia forum. Finally, someone suggested I use a different program to export my JPEG images, so I switched to Photoshop. And what do you know? The problem was fixed!
I suppose I could just switch to Photoshop for my web graphics, however I'm very comfortable using ImageReady, and besides, there's no earthly reason why this should be happening!! Any ideas?

Re: ImageReady funky with Dreamweaver
Hi,
I use Fireworks EXCLUSIVLEY for web graphics. It seems to me the compression algorthms are MUCH better. For some reason a 50k FW jpeg looks better than a 100k PS jpeg.
I do all my other work in PSCS but optimise in FW.
Try it,
Warren
BTW
DW 2004MX is buggy as heck!!!
