Images create discolorations - need help!
I have created some images in photoshop to be used in an illustrator file. One of the pictures fades to black as it goes right. When I placed the picture in illustrator everything looked great. Technically this is to be printed by a company that makes cd covers. I wanted to make sure everthing looked ok on paper and so I decided to print this on my inkjet. When I got the results, I found that you could see where the lines were where the images ended. The colors appear to be matched (between the image color and the background color in illustrator) but when printed you can see it. Is this just and inkjet issue or am I missing something? How can I prevent/stop this effect? Please help.

Re: Images create discolorations - need help!
Shiznit,
The default black in Photoshop is a rich black composed of all 4 colours.
The default black in Illustrator (CMYK) is just 100k.
The difference will be visible in print. Create a 'custom' rich black in
Illustrator that matches the black from Photoshop
