images imported into ID CS are poor quality
I have a simple job: an envelope corner card that willprint B&W. I tried to import a b&w logo in two different formats: one is a 256 kb tiff, the other is a 284kb eps. When I view, or print, each logo in the native app (Photoshop CS, Illustrator CS), the images are crisp and clean. However when I import either file into my InDesign envelope job, the images have a jaggy, lo-res look. Can anybody help me?

Re: images imported into ID CS are poor quality
It will not view "crisp" in Indesign, it will print fine.

Re: images imported into ID CS are poor quality
Are you pasting or placing? Did you check the show options button when placing? Do you have anything in the settings there that would lead to this? What printer profile are you using? etc.
There is no reason for InDesign to be doing this. InDesign does not lower the quality of placed files. Something, somewhere must be set inaccurately.

Re: images imported into ID CS are poor quality
Make sure you have high-quality display selected to view it "crsiply". Make sure that you do not have Optimized Subsampling seleced in the graphics panel of the print dialogs when you go to print.
