Default images in clipping paths change position

I have a tiff bitmap image pasted inside a clipping path. I've made a pattern of the clipping path graphic. I've rotated some of the graphics in the pattern. This causes some of the pasted-in images to display and print incorrectly. The pasted-in images seem to be rotated within the clipping path. What's going on?

    I'm using FH 10.2.6, System 10, PowerBook G4.

    Thanks.

When you rotate a clipping path, you can choose whether or not to rotate the
contents along with the path by checking or unchecking 'Contents' in the
    Transform/Rotate panel.

    Does that help?
