IML32.dll, FH10, WinXP
I've installed, uninstalled and reinstalled FreeHand 10 with the same results:
it cannot find IML32.dll at launch and therefore I can no longer export to
..gif, .png, .pdf, etc., even though these *.32 files exist in the Xtras
directory.
Can someone suggest a fix, please?!
I would prefer to be using a Mac, but such as it is, it sounds like an XP
registery problem. Or something else?
Thanks!

Re: IML32.dll, FH10, WinXP
bastokyg,
I'm not using XP, but I have FH10 installed. I just did a seach of my C:
drive and the only IML32.dll I came up with was in an old Director trial
directory. If you would like to try plugging that one in, I'd be happy to
email it to you. I've not a clue whether it is the appropriate file,
though, nor where you would need to put it to get past that error.

Re: IML32.dll, FH10, WinXP
bastokyg.
I am using XP with FH11. I searched my entire system and found 4
IML32.DLL files, all different versions. They all seem to be related
to the Shockwave player or to an app that incorporates some feature of
Shockwave or Director, but none in any of the Freehand folders.
You may want to visit the link:
http://www.macromedia.com/downloads/
and download and install the latest versions of the Shockwave player
and the Flash player for your system. No promises, but just a hunch
that IML32.DLL will be installed where it needs to be. There may be
some indirect relation between Freehand and the players, but I don't
see where. It won't cost anything but your time to try it.

Re: IML32.dll, FH10, WinXP
Thanks, Bill!
I think I'll pass on that offer. I'm hoping that someone here at work, someone
that knows something about the Windows registry, can help me out. It may, in
the long run, be a system related problem, since I was given a new machine that
was set up via a disk image that may have been corrupted (I've been trying to
research this on my own as much as possible).
Thanks again for the offer. Hopefully I'll get this squared away soon.
