    Default Import EPS or AI

Importing (or placing) an Illustrator CS document into IDCS has resulted in loss of color quality and brightness....similar to what happens when an image is converted to a PDF.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks!

Make sure that color management and all color settings are identical in
    ID and Illy.

Nothing should normally happen in such a case. So,

Make sure that color management and all color settings are identical in
    ID and Illy.

    as Bob says.

    Hey Thanks!

For anyone else with this problem, save your color management settings under as a new profile (i.e. newcolor.csf)

You'll be able to select this profile across the board, in both AICS and IDCS.

    Thanks again guys

Is that only if you have CS or it the same with older versions?

I thought it might be a Creative Suite thing only but since it works with PS 7, I guess it works with most versions. Unless of course you are using an ancient version. One that should be in a tomb like the Photoshop version 5.5 I'm using here at work. :)

    Thanks for the info!
