import image problems
I am making a flyer on Publisher 2000. I print it out and it prints in
color. I need 5000 copies so I take it to a printing company who asks me to
bring them a black and white copy. I go under printer settings and change
the it to black and white and it prints fine. When I go back to change it
to color, all of a sudden I can no longer import pictures. When I make a
image box and then import clip art, all I see is a large dotted X from one
corner of the box to the other corner. Help!!

Re: import image problems
I'm going to make a suggestion outside of your question. Since you are
already paying for 5000 copies, why not pay a little bit more and have them
read it off of the disk instead of a copy. I pay $5 for my printer to do
that. If the print shop is big enough for your job, they should have
Publsiher. The only problem I've had with doing that is that I sometimes use
fonts that my printer doesn't have. I've reently switched to handing them a
..pdf file on the disk. Keeps everybody happy.

The problem with resting on your laurels is that eventually you are sitting
on dead branches.
