Importing and Plug-In problems (Illustrator 10.0.3)
I am working on some packaging that has 8 colors. Two things are happening:
When I save out a Photoshop 7 DCS file and then try to import it into Illustrator, the program crashes. Everytime, no matter what I do. So, I tried to import the .PSD file, but then I get a message saying "Could not find a plug-in to read the linked file <file name>. Replace it with another file?". I click ignore, and I don't get a preview. DOH!
I've tried resaving the .PSD file, I've tried resaving the .AI file.... nothing. Does ayone know what plug-in this message is talking about?? Is there an update that I am not seeing for multi-color jobs?

Using: MAC Panther, Illustrator 10.0.3, Photoshop 7, all fully updated.
