importing artwork message when opening file
A user has complained that a file he is opening is taking a long time and is coming up with a message "importing artwork" -he does not know why it is doing this.
It is a fresh installation of the OS and Illustrator. Opening other files is fine except for this particular series. They are only small 100k files. Apparently they have embedded jpegs in. They are also of a tartan pattern so could be quite complex. Is this likely to be the cause or should I look for something else?
thanks

Bill, How much RAM do you have allocated to Photoshop under Edit|Preferences? Should not be more than 75%
