Importing Autocad File
Hi,
I am in desperate need of some help.
I need to export a autocad (2004) drawing to scale into Indesign CS.
Can this be done, if so how?
I would be grateful if you could help me in this urgent matter.
Many thanks.

Re: Importing Autocad File
Either export as EPS or create a PDF. Place in ID.

Re: Importing Autocad File
Thanks Bob.
It appears to export but the detail of the CAD drawing doesn't seem to be clear enough in Indesign- parts of the drawing are in solid blocks or thicker lines, rather than what it should look like??

Re: Importing Autocad File
Don't export, print to EPS or PDF from AutoCAD - you can control the
lineweight and scale thru the plot dialog
