folks,

what you need, is a so called xslt-file, that transforms the excel-xml-structure to the
structure, needed for importing (variables->import library).

am not into excel, but i guess, when exporting one is able to choose the xslt-file as a "catalytic converter". the resulting file will be importable.

this is, what adobe describes as "Hand off the variable library to a developer." :-).

writing this sxlt is the really hard part of the job.
