    Default Importing from iPhoto

    Hi all,
I just downloaded Elements yesterday and I'm trying to teach myself how to use it. How on Earth can I import a photo from iPhoto on my eMac? I did it once yesterday, but for the life of me I can't figure it out today.

    thanks,

    Mark,
It worked! Thank you very much. I still have no idea how I did it yesterday, but your suggestion works.

    Thanks again.

    Stacy,

You can also double click the image within 'organize' mode and it will open in Elements.

Didn't know about the control click option. Thanks Mark for that one.

If you want to edit in Elements and leave the iPhoto version alone, choose export from the file menu and send a copy to the desktop or another folder and open it from within Elements. I tend to leave my iPhoto library alone, as it is finicky about being fiddled-with.

    Steve,
I appreciate the advice. I really enjoy iPhoto and would prefer to not mess with it. I will give that a try.
