    Default importing HTML

when I clicked 'new topic' I noticed that there hasn't
been a reply in a while, but I'm hoping my question
    get some reply. anyway.

at the moment I'm using the "getVariablesNum"
function to load some text from an external file into a
dynamic text field. I'm wondering if there's no other
way, and on that point, if there's a way of importing
    HTML into the .fla.

it's not critical but it would make life just a little easier.
    that's all

    thanks in advance

    Hi Wllm,

Since flash 5 you can retrieve info from an access database (not just a text
file). You can store, amoung other things "rich text" in such a database.
Although this is not html, I thought it may help out. There's a great
    article on it here...
