Importing PDF files into Indesign

    PDF was never intended to be an editable format. It's intended to be a
    final product, just like a printed page.

    If you need to place multi-page PDFs, there are scripts. If you need to
    edit them, you'll need to buy the tools designed for that job. But do so
    with the understanding that even with those tools, you may no be able to
    accomplish the type of editing that you'd like to do.

    ? I'm temped to ask if you have you tried the scripts but I'd rather ask have you read any of the other postings regarding this subject...

    Bob, I guess the actual question is this: why isn't this function included in Design suite professional? Wouldn't you agree that it should be?

    What feature would that be? Editing PDFs or placing multi-page PDFs.

    As far as editing, I'll stick to my prior statement. PDFs are not
    intended to be edited.

    For multi-page PDF import, yes, it would be nice to have. Why not visit
    the feature request forum and add your voice to the others that have
    requested it?
