Importing .psd & .ai into InDesign CS2
I have a quation regarding importing .psd and .ai into InDesign. When you import these file formats into the program, does it reaad the composite data or does it read the actual file. For e.g. if you were to impost a .psd, would it simply read the composite and print the terxt as raster as oposed to vector. Would it be better to import as an .eps so that it would read the vector as vector and print in vector?
Thanks

It would be better to import as PDF, not EPS

Re: Importing .psd & .ai into InDesign CS2
For Photoshop files with vector or type, save as Photoshop PDF. It
wouldn't hurt to add the PDP extension if you're doing any crossplatform
work.

Yes, and the extension, at least on Windows, is necessary to tell the
operating system to open the file in Photoshop if you use edit original
from InDesign.
