    Default Importing Screen Shots

I am trying to place a screenshot into InDesign and it distorts the image and if I open the same screenshot in Photoshop it is clear. Also, I have tried altering the image in Photoshop.

What I have been doing straight from screen shot:
    1.Print Screen
    2. R click paste
    3. Resize

What I have been doing with Photoshop Image:
    1.Print Screen
    2. Paste imagein Photoshop
    3. Prepare as Raster file
    -Covert colors to CMYK
    -Go to Image
    -Image size
    -change resolution to 300
-Make sure constrain proportions is checked
-select nearest neighbor from "Resample Image" dropdown menu
-Save as Tiff or PSD file
    -Place in InDesign

    Default Re: Importing Screen Shots

Pasting the screen shot is not the right way to work with screen shots.

You should save the screen shots as a PSD or TIFF and Place them in InDesign.

    Default Re: Importing Screen Shots

Use Photoshop if you must, but we've been quite successful with CapturEze
Pro. It grabs individual windows when you do PrintScreen, or grabs screen
elements, entire screens, whatever. Saves directly to TIF or any other
format you like. Those images then place directly into ID, and they print
beautifully. This is truly far faster than fooling with PS, which can't help
    screen captures much anyway.

(disclaimer: no connection with the software vendor, I just like their
    stuff)
