importing vs. copying images into director
Hi--
someone on my team said that creating an image in photoshop and copying it and pasting it into a new cast member in director produces a smaller cast size than importing the image into director. I was wondering...
1. is this true and why
2. is it better to import or paste images into the cast
3. if importing, is there something that should be done to the image before it is imported into director to keep the cast size as small as possible.
thanks...we produce lots of director movies delivered over the web with lots of images so keeping the file size as small as possible is important.
Thanks in advance,
sheila

Re: importing vs. copying images into director
Hi,
This maybe true, though i've not checked it in detail...but lemme tell you what i did for a HUGE CBT that i completed...this one had 11 modules with 10 options in each module...each option had 20 screens which means we are looking at around 2000 screens captured at 1024x768...
For the entire project... all i did was to use the JPG setting of the movie, ensure that was somewhere between 40-50% , i also did use transform bitmap to change 16bits to 8bits per pixel, that was all i did... and it came out good....
