Importing XML to ID CS question - Adobe Indesign Windows

Hi! The end result of a project I have been assigned is a company phone book with over 8,000 entries. These entries are given to me in XML and I am trying to import them into ID CS. Each listing in the XML doent has the name (sometimes 2 lines), the phone number, mail, room and building. I have tried setting it up in 1 text frame and multiple text frames and neither one works to import multiple listings. Anyone ever do a phone book? Is there something I need to tell my programmers to do before they give me ...

Is there something I need to tell my programmers to do before they give me the XML file?

    Help or suggestions anyone???

    Thanks!

    In the Place XML Dialog, make sure Show XML Import options is checked. In the Options dialog choose Append Content to add content.

    Tried that.. didn't work.

    The XML structure looks like this:
    - <PhoneDirectory>
    - <section>
    Departments-LS
    - <group>
    A
    - <listing>
    - <department title="Departments">
    <indentLevel>0</indentLevel>
    AHRD - Administration and
    </department>
    <number />
    <mail />
    <bldg />
    <room />
    </listing>
    - <listing>
    - <department title="Departments">
    <indentLevel>1</indentLevel>
    Human Resources Directorate
    </department>
    <number title="Number">31165</number>
    <mail title="Mail">653</mail>
    <bldg title="Bldg">551E</bldg>
    <room title="Rm">2082</room>
    </listing>

    And they go on and on and on. Multiple groups and hundreds of listings under each group.

    Any other suggestions?
