    Default inaccurate colours

I'm a newbie to fireworks so please be patent..

Can anyone advise me on why my colour picker in fireworks is inaccurate. E.G., if I import an image from Photoshop that is filled with #678AA9 the dropper tool in fireworks sees it as #669999, yet all other image software packages see #678AA9. I thought that maybe fireworks was converting all my colours to web safe but I can't find any way of changing the settings.

    Any advice appreciated Thanx.

    Hi,

Open any of the swatches pop ups by clicking in a fill color box. Click
on the right arrow button at the top right of the swatches pop up to
open the swatches menu. If you see that Snap to Web safe is checked,
click on it to disable it. Not also that you should turn off color
profiling embedding in Photoshop if you plan to import the graphics on
    the Web.
