Incompatibility, Spry Accordians
Hello, Everyone,
Does anyone know if there might be an incompatibility issue with lighbox2 ans
spry accordians using IE?
Please compare these 2 pages in explorer if you happen to have it (on a pc) :
http://www.pearceco.com/bowdoin_square.html
http://www.pearceco.com/bowdoin_square3html
click on the one bedroom floorplan link (right hand side) in each
In Explorer on a pc in the second page (the page with the accordian),
sometimes the page won?t even open...
and IE throws a message that the page won?t load and the operation is aborted.
What is most perplexing is
that sometimes the page loads fine and loads fine in all the other browsers
that I have tried.
I have read about this same problem in a blog post where a woman was trying to
combine Lightbox2 and java menus.
Please help, anybody?

I have Vista 64bit. When I visited the page last night (from your post in the Spry forum) in the 32bit version of IE, it gives me that message. If I visit the page in the 64bit of IE, it shows. I don't know all of the differences between the 32bit and the 64bit IEs, but I do know that the 64bit IE does not have a Flash player. Your page has Flash on it, so I'd suggest that you remove the Flash movie to see if perhaps it's the Flash embedding code and see if the issue goes away.> Hello, Everyone,

In case it matters, on my system, 32bit IE is located at:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe
and 64bit is at:
C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe
