    Default Incorrect Print Area

    Hi All

Back after a long time in the back room.

I have an issue - when I select my doent page size (A3) and set the page size to A3 the print area is not correct. The print area starts about one fifth of the way down from the top of the doent. I have tried different sizes and the print area is still wrong.

Can anyone suggest a reason and solution.

    regards

    Latchet,

The print area should be determined by the printer, or rather by the printer driver; have you checked that?

    Latchet,

Are you saying the printable area is the wrong size or in the wrong
    position?

If the latter, double-click the Page Tool to centre the printabole area
    on the page.

If the former, then that's down to the printer driver which is where
Illustrator gets the page size data from.

You are a star. This fixed it. I didn't even know there was a page tool. What would cause the page centre to suddenly start going out of whack?

    cheers (and a very happy)

    Latchet.

Good to hear that fixed it for you, Latchet - I don't know what is
likely to have caused it to default to off-centre, although I have seen
changing media sizes or orientation have that effect.
