Mike (and anyone else who might be able to help)

I still have this problem with several graphics, where it surely illogical that I need to use an EPS version of an Illustrator graphic in InDesign 2.0.2 because the native AI version won't bleed properly.

The readers of our publications won't know and won't care that I have had to substitute the EPS for the AI, but it sure does annoy me that I have had to do it. Why would merely resaving an AI as an EPS be more acceptable to InDesign, when Adobe encourages users to use native Illustrator files in the product? And I have never had a problem with AIs in ID before?
