indd1.52 w98 fonts flew coop
I switched to w2000 from w98, reinstalled indd1.5, and most of my fonts
were gone-----reinstalled w98 & indd1.5 to see if it was the OS, no luck.
Had to have had 150+ fonts before, including arial narrow which I used a
bunch----it's looking like 30-40 fonts now, real basic selection.
Any clue as to their destination, and how I could get them back?
thanks, Mike

Re: indd1.52 w98 fonts flew coop
Switched how? Upgrade installs of operating systems are dangerous. Only
a clean install should be done.
That said, AFAIK, Arial Narrow is installed with MS Office, not Windows.
Your other fonts could have been from anywhere.
I would also strongly suggest you consider upgrading to ID CS. It's
lightyears ahead of ID 1.5.

Re: indd1.52 w98 fonts flew coop
Howdy!
Hey, thanks for the advice, and you were right!
Turns out the arial narrow was courtesy of MS-word.
Would've upgraded to InDesign 2.0 or CS, but for some reason
Adobe quit sending me the upgrade notices, which baffles me, because I own 3 different Adobe products.
anyhow, thanks again for your help,
Mike
