We have found this "incomplete" error will only occur with some (not all) TrueType fonts (not on regular typefaces, but on italics, bold and bold italics). If Adobe fonts are used you will not get this error.

The "incomplete" font error doesn't appear to be fixed in CS (on XP) either. I'm just starting to use it (from PageMaker) and had that error pop up on me today. Didn't know what it meant. The font itself appears to be fine.
