InDesign and QuarkXpress
Hi,
I got a problem. We made a book in pagemaker, converted it to InDesign. Now our printer can only handle QuarkXpress files. Does anyone now how I can convert my indd to QuarkXpress???

Re: InDesign and QuarkXpress
There is no way down the technical ladder, so you have to provide PDF files
to your printer (beware of problems newer PDF versions can produce with
Quark). If he can't handle them, either kick him and search a new printer or
export from InDesign to PDF 1.3, than export all pages as EPS files and
supply them to him, so he can do the imposition in Quark.
It's no problem that a company doesn't have InDesign, but then he at least
have to accept PDF files, or he is really the wrong printer where I
personally wouldn't print anything.

Re: InDesign and QuarkXpress
You might also inform your printer that in a couple years he will probably be out of business if he can't handle PDF and InDesign files!
