Indesign CS 3.0.1 PageMaker Plug In Error

Hi.

When I open a file in A.I. document and a double clic a frame with text to edit it, A.I. quits presenting an error in Indesign.exe.
But when I use the text buttons to edit it, it works.
The problem exists only with the double clic.

Could anyone explain to me what happens?

Could be a bad font. But the first thing I'd try is trashing pref files
to see it that clears it up.

Hold down ctrl+shift+alt keys when launching and say yes to deleting the
files.

I tried it, trashing pref files, but nothing happened.
I re-installed all the program, same thing.

Everytime I double click a frame to start typing, ID quits with an error. That is for the documents I already have created but also for every new document.

When I dont install the update 3.0.1, it works just fine. I can double click frames in new documents and type, but I can't open the old ones, because they have been saved with the update and ID asks me to install any new updates before opening the files.

Could be a bug in 3.0.1?

If this is due to bad font, how can I fix it?

I am not the only one complaining about it.
I check out the indesign version. Hope it is not 404.
if yes there are beta versions one the market.
