Default InDesign CS Help or F1 do not work

When I click on Help>InDesign Help (or press F1) my browser does not launch and display the help menu. I can locate the help files on the hard disk and when I double click on them IE is launced and I can access them. The command works fine with Photoshop CS.
I rebooted and restarted IDCS and the problem persists.

I have InDesign 3.0.1 and IE 6.0.2 etc running under Windows XP (latest Service packs and patches).
    Anybody encountered this problem?
    What should I do?

    Thanks

Create a shortcut for the help file and place it in the quick launch
    area of the taskbar.

It's a known issue with no known fix. I have the same problem here and
    the shortcut works just fine.
