InDesign CS Tagged Text same for Mac and PC?

Hello InDesign experts!

I have only a few months of experience with InDesign (PC version). I
have built a system that exports data from a database into XML and
then, using XSLT, transforms this XML into tagged text for import into
InDesign.

However, the company where I work wants to switch to the Mac version of
InDesign and I am hoping that this does not mean I have to make new
XSLT templates?

Basically, can tagged text that works perfectly well in InDesign CS on
a PC work just as well without modification in InDesign CS on a Mac?

No expert here; just "getting my feet wet" with tagged text, however, at the
very least, you will need to change the <ASCII-WIN> header tag to
<ASCII-MAC>.

I've been doing a lot of testing lately with tagged text. I work on both a
Mac and a PC at work, so I am trying to shake out cross-platform issues
myself.

I'll check this group ocassionally to "mine the gold."
