InDesign CS2 Documents Not Saving
On graphic intensive documents, I have been having an issue that saving actually does nothing. So I can finish a whole manual and there are NO saved changes - even though I have incrementally been doing "save" throughout the whole document. InDesign does not crash, nor is any temp file written while I am working on the document. This does not happen always, just on some documents. I am running a G5 with 4 GB of memory. Files are saved to an XRAID and Mac OSX server. Should I throw out my prefs or reinstall the software? This has been a recent and random problem.

Re: InDesign CS2 Documents Not Saving
I'd bet its a network problem. can you save locally?
If the answer is yes then its a network problem.

Re: InDesign CS2 Documents Not Saving
I agree with Buko. Take the network volume out of the equation, and see what happens.
If things work normally with a local file, then you'll need to provide more version information - InDesign, Client OS, Server OS, and XRaid. I know there have been issues with various older versions of XRaid. Are you running the most current?
