Indesign CS2: footnotes
Hi everybody,
I'm a new user of CS2, before that i had several experiences with CS1.
One of my biggest problem is the automation of the footnotes. When i import a Word© Txt, by default, it appears in CS2 that the footnotes are linked one by one with the current text above. I want to know if it's possible to deactivate that, without loosing the footnotes mark in the current text (as it used to be in the CS1 v.)
thanks

Re: Indesign CS2: footnotes
Check your options for the import of Word-files on placing the file. There are options there as to how to import the footnotes from Word to ID.

Re: Indesign CS2: footnotes
thanks
there are 2 options, ID considers footnotes at the bottom of the page (the one i want to deactivate) and footnotes at the end of the text. This last option is working, but i have to change that in the Word app.
