It might be that is applying the incorrect direction. select the % adn assign the right ot left reading direction from the character palette fly out menu

While trying your suggestion i found it works but i had the whole magazine with lot of % typed in it, so i was trying to find an easy solution and while searching I found that my file was originaly created in In design CS and I am editing it in CS2 when I opened this file in CS % mark is ok e.g.%100 in its write place (ofcourse in arabic) and in CS2 it shows left to write e.g.100%. But I am worried why it happened in CS2 even than it is a newer version.

Probably becasue of the changes Adobe made on the Text Enginge. CS2 implements different rules than CS1, as far as I can recall.

The ME version introduced some new RTL functions with version 4.0.2. The character direction in 4.0.2 is set by the keyboard script. If that file is opened in a version prior to 4.0.2, things will be backwards.

Ya! I agree with you harbs. But Is their any solution for that or I have to work with CS1 only. Or any thing which i can do while saveing from CS1 so that the figures will not go backwards.

The problem is not going from CS1 to CS2. It's the other way around. The file was created in CS1 or CS2?

Either way if all the % are supposed to be right to left, just do a search and replace of all % with right to left set in the replace settings.

Some fonts doesn't work consistently in all applications. I suggest you select the %100 or re type it using another Arabic font as this should solve it.
