InDesign Developers Needed

The company I work for is currently looking to transfer our Quark 4.11 workflow to InDesign CS2. I could do it myself but it would take me too long to learn the InDesign API's, and the company would like this done ASAP. We have determined it would be better to just have someone do it who is already well versed in InDesign Development.

What needs to be develop for your process that you ahve nto founf in InDesign or third party developers?
Or this is just converting and making sure the document is easy to understand and work?

Hi Paul,

In addition, it might be possible to automate your workflow using InDesign scripting, rather than developing plug-ins with C++ and the InDesign SDK. Whether or not scripting would be a good fit for your needs really depends on what you need to do.

In general, if you need to add completely new capabilities to InDesign (such as adding a new text composer or a new import filter), then you need to write plug-ins; if you need to use the existing capabilities of InDesign, then scripting is often the best approach.
