    Bob:

Thank you again for your help and my apologies for such a delayed reply. This has been a particularly busy week.

I followed your advice and it worked great. As soon as I changed the transparency blend space to RGB everything went back to normal and the colors displayed the way they did before ?

    Thank you for your help.

    I have another question.

The documents I created in Apple's Pages program I had to re-create in InDesign as I didn't have access to all the control over the page layout in Pages as I now have in InDesign.

One problem I noticed is the fact that colors printed on paper don't look the same. I basically copied the RGB values used in Pages for the different colors and used these same values in InDesign. Although on screen colors look the same, on paper they look quite different. In case this information is important I am using an Epson printer model R1800.

    Any ideas ?

Thank you again for your help.

It's a color management issue. Just for kicks, turn off color management
    in ID.

Note: I don't normally advise doing this, but it will be interesting to
    see how it compares.

Robert's guess is the same as mine. Probably Pages is doing no color management, and ID is (its default).

And you probably have color management turned on in your Epson printer driver.

    Bob and Steve:

It took me a while to respond because I just now had the chance to try your suggestions.

Following your posts, I turned off color management in InDesign and printed the document again. This time the colors were perfect on print. The colors I used in Pages now look the same when I print the documents from InDesign.

Thank you very much once again for your help. I really appreciate your willingness to help and to share what you know.

    Best regards,
