InDesign is not recognizing a font in Font Book
I have a font family, called ITC Garamond Condensed, which is in my Font Book, and shows up just fine in my Illustrator and in my Photoshop documents, but for some reason, InDesign (version 2.0.1) is not reading it! I wonder if I need to upgrade to InDesign CS2? Will this solve my problem, or is it a problem with the font?

Re: InDesign is not recognizing a font in Font Book
Anne,
Try this - in indesign 2.0.1 indesign look for the font to see if it's listed as Garamond, not under ITC, or you could also try doing a find for adobefnt and delete all the font .lst files you find, make sure you exit all your adobe applications first and that should also help the font show up correctly.

Re: InDesign is not recognizing a font in Font Book
My ITC Garamond is indeed listed under Garamond (with ITC prefixing it) in the type menu.
I recall having a similiar issue with ITC Garamond when I switched to ID.
Putting it in ID's font folder solved it for me.
Hope you get it.
