    Hi, its me again.

    mhh do you know a plug in or something for Indesign 2 which saves the windows? so if indesign shutsdown with an error the windows are on the same place as when u open ID after a new installation!
    and that is a little bit.... :()

    if you mean the palettes, the only way to recover them is to upgrade to CS,
    which allows to save the individual screen.

    but there is no other chance? why cant code adobe the same palettes saving tools in every adobe-produkt?! mhhh anyway, in a few months i have to update to CS!

    nope. This was threaded quite often as 2.0 was last version. The screen is
    put back to zero if you install/change a plugin or sometimes if you have
    risen up with your left leg first instead of the right one.

    If there are any new plug-ins or scripts you may find them in <http://share.studio.adobe.com/> or check in the InDesign scripting forum. Ask around to see if someone can help create a script that can save your workspace.
