I have Adobe Acrobat 5.0.5 from 11/02 and have this problem since adding Win XP Home 3 mo ago. I cant change the "Properties" in the edit menu. This is esp. bad since the pencil tool was and is set to white so is now fairly useless.
I ran an upgrade for 5.0.5 recently and tried several compatibility changes (former operating system Win 98) no luck. The properties stays faded out for everything I've checked highlighter, line, box, etc.. Help?
