Indesign Packaging Error "Cannot copy neccessary linked file(s)" - Adobe Indesign Windows

I'm trying to package an Indesign brochure spread (23 pages) and i am repeatedly getting the error "Cannot copy neccessary linked file(s)" There appears to be no problem with any of the links when I preflight and I have plenty of hard disk space. This is very frustrating as I'm working to a deadline. Can anyone give me some pointers? My System Specs are; Intel P4 3.4ghz 2gb Ram 136gb SCSI Hdd with 52gb free Win XP SP2...

Have you changed the name of the instructions.txt file?

    BTW, send a PDF.

No, I haven't changed the name of the instructions.txt file.

I'd love to send a pdf, it'd make my life so much easier but i've had major problems with printers not being able to deal with them, especially with spot colours and the like.

Do you have read/write access to all the linked files?

Do you have two different linked files with the same name (but in different locations)?

Yes, all the files are on my local hard drive. I'll take a look at the other question.

No I don't appear to have any links duplicated in different locations

What if I embeded all the files?

Worth trying on a copy -- I wouldn't do that for a working doent.

It's also possible that the attempt will fail for the same reason. If so, that will give you a clue as to the file which is preventing the packaging from happening.

AH! found the problem, something to do with DCS plates.. it didn't like one of my images, anyway, I removed it and it packaged fine, thanks for all your help guys
