InDesign PDF: Missing letters in prepress
When I make a hires PDF file from Indesign CS, it looks and prints ok. But when prepress produces printing films, letters occasionally disappear. It is not necessarily special characters.

(*It sounds like your fonts might not be properly embedded, but I am only making a guess.)
