InDesign quits before completing packaging files
I am running Mac OS 10.4.6 with InDesign CS 3.0.1 on a G5.
I have 6 Direct Mail pieces that I have designed and need to collect to go to my print vendor, but the application quits half way through the collect process. The packaged folder is there with a fonts folder and a Links folder but only 2 links out of the 6 are there and there is no InDesign document. Any and all help is appreciated, I need to get these pieces out the door.

We just encountered this problem at our site this week in InDesign CS2 running on a G5 running under 10.4.6. Here, it is only reproducible in systems running 10.4.6, and even there doesn't happen on every file. But it doesn't happen at all on systems running 10.3.9 or 10.4.7.
You may want to download the 10.4.7 Combo updater and try packaging the files again. That worked here.
