InDesign: resizing image within text box via keyboard - weirdness!
Hi all!
I finally tracked down the info on how to resize an image only, within
its frame, from the keyboard. It's supposed to be cmd-> (and <) for
small increments, and cmd-opt-> (and <) for bigger ones (with the
direct selection tool).
Three of them work as advertised. But weirdness ensues when I hit
"cmd->" - the picture does not move, and it turns grey. I have to reset
its display performance to see the image again.
All other variations work as advertised, but once I want to
incrementally enlarge it mucks things up. What gives?
I notice that ID's help page for keyboard shortcuts only mentions a
DECREASE by 1% command, and in increase/decrease by 5% command... but
no "increase by 1%" command. Surely it must exist..?
I notice too that "cmd->" without the Shift key is basically the
universal "stop" command, cmd-period. But adding the shift key doesn't
prevent this behaviour.
A small but really irksome thing... hope someone can help!
Thanks!
Adam
