Indesign trial expired -- NOT!

I've been using the InDesign CS trial for about a week and a half. Today I bought some extra memory, and had to reset my bios.
I started windows XP, and launched IDCS as usual. It said my trial had expired. My clock was reset to the year 2002 ... I rebooted, restored the correct time, and started windows again. IDCS: Still expired :(
I removed IDCS, removed *everything* from IDCS from my registry, rebooted, and reinstalled IDCS.
It still says "expired", and i haven't been using it for the complete period of time ...
My deadline for a catalog is tomorrow, and the idea i can't run it anymore frightens me ... I'm not planning to format/reinstall XP, since i have till tomorrow 2 o'cloc.

What can i do about this? Buying it is out of the question, I'm not that wealthy a student ...

Install the trial on a different computer.

Resetting the system clock killed the demo.

There's nothing you can do short of a format of your harddrive.

But I would question your intelligence using a demo for an important
project. There is academic pricing available.

Next time you add more RAM, skip this step. Unless you have some sort of
REALLY old beast computer, it's just not necessary.

Academic > it's not for school ... This is the first time I use IDCS, i used ID2.02 before, but it corrupted my single file completely.

Computer didn't start at first, when i just inserted the ram. It was doubtful before, since I have 2x256MB of different brands, and now i bought 512MB of yet another brand.
Resetting the bios, then removing and re-inserting the memory solved the problem.

I guess it'll be old crappy win98 again on another partition ...

I'd bite the bullet and just by the full version of ID CS now so you can finish your job on your existing computer. It would've only been 2 1/2 weeks from now that you'dve have to buy it anyway, right?

Did we read the EULA? Section 14.4 (if I recall correctly) of the EULA could have prevented this problem.

Even though your project is not for school, as long as you are a student, you should be able to get the academic pricing. The license for the educational version does not restrict what you can use it for.

Folks apparently do not read them when it could have saved you a hoot of a lot of trouble.

Literacy is rewarding.
