Index Topics and Index References
Ok here is my problem.
I Generate my Index and it keeps coming up with the original index i created. I went through all the chapters in my manual and added specific Topics to the indexes of each chapter. Then when I go to the Index Page (that is attached to the book) and import all my topics in from each chapter it shows me all the Topics I added (about 1000 total) but when I generate the index it does not use the new topics. Also I noticed that when I look at the reference part of index there is nothing in there? I'm guessing that I need to populate the reference part of the index before the generate index will work correctly, CORRECT?
If this is the case, HOW do i Update my reference part of the index without going back and manually typing in the locations of the Topics?
HELP???

Re: Index Topics and Index References
Tom,
I could be wrong but I think what you need to do is highlight each word/words you want in the index and press Ctrl+Alt+U (if your shortcuts are still default) for each reference one at a time.
