    Default Re: indexes in cs

Is it possible to easily create an InDesign index from a Word document?

In other words, if the Word doc comes through with a special character style applied to each word we want to index in ID, how can I then convert that Word character style into an index marker in InDesign?

Could possibly be done with a script, but there is no built in ID to do this AFAIK.
