Insert NavBar Problem: JavaScript Error?
I'm attempting to insert a NavBar on my page and am seeing two different
problematic bahaviors:
1. When I add a single button as the first graphic for the nav bar, and
complete the steps for the rollover/down/link, etc., and click OK to check the
work, DW gives me an error: "While executing onClick in Modify Nav Bar.htm, a
JavaScript error occurred." Only option is to click "OK." Which equates to no
nav bar functionality.
2. When copying/pasting the nav buttons from my other pages into the nav bar
table cell on this page, the Nav Bar Elements in the little wizard get jumbled
and take names like "Default 7" - they all have this name, although I rename
them and assign all the correct imagery to the button states. When I re-open
the NavBar insert wizard, all the jumbled incorrect names and images replace
what I just fixed, and the nav bar has none of the correct links. Totally
unworkable.
I'm using DW8 with the update. MacOSX10.4.4.
This problem is delaying the project from being published. I have no
workaround at this point.
Help?
Thank you!

Re: Insert NavBar Problem: JavaScript Error?
Don't use the DW navbar feature. It offers no advantage over simple image
swaps, and yet uses more code to do it.
Questions like this get better exposure on the general discussion forum.
