Default Insert/Paste an image into an existing PDF?

    Hello,
I have a series of PDFs that I'd like to insert an image (EPS) into. Basically, I had a series of ads that have already been created (with crop marks, etc.) and I would like to insert/paste a color bar into each of these PDFs. Is this possible?
    Thanks,
    Kristin.

Not really. Acrobat isn't designed to do that. A hokey workaround would be to make buttons and use each image as the image for each button, but I don't recall if Acrobat supports using EPS files for button images.

Yea, I ended up creating a custom stamp (tools -> commenting -> stamps) using the Colour Bar EPS. Works fine.
    Thanks,

I found the best way is to digitally sign it. Just change your settings so that it only shows a graphic and insert the image you want. Then sign it :)

I just discovered an application which is very simple and efective to use, whose name is INFIX from ICENI (www.iceni.com), that will fulfill the requirements to insert images, text, etc.

Yeah, Infix pdf editor is able to insert image into pdf with ease, you can locate the color bar at anywhere within document. And you can also adjust the size of the image if necessary.

just downloaded it, it's the only way i was able to convert a pdf that was programmed as a template into our database for student data. the old template previously unused had another school district logo, and i only had acrobat 5. it wouldn't let me just paste in the image, and infix made it easy.

Thumbs up Re: Insert/Paste an image into an existing PDF?

The Infix application is absolutely wonderful and easy to use! To meet the American Disability Act, all PDF maps must have a government seal with tag information. This application allows me to add federal/state/local agency seals to PDFs that have originally omitted the requirement per ADA.
