Default Inserting pages throws off layout - Indesign CS

I'm working on a 60-page document in Indesign CS (Pagemaker edition with plug-in pack). Whenever I insert a new page in the document, it throws off the layout of any pages after the newly-inserted page. When I say it "throws off the layout", I mean it throws off the entire text frames and any graphics so that they no longer align to the guides I have set up. They are shifted to the right or left. I have used the Layout Adjustment box, but nothing seems to work. I have to then manually re-adjust the layout on the skewed pages. Tedious. Please help!

Default Re: Inserting pages throws off layout - Indesign CS

    Jen,
I am struggling with the same monster around the same page count (30 spreads). The only thing I have come up with is to highlight all the objects on the page right click and group all objects. Thus when my client keeps changing their mind as to how many pages and there content every other day I can move the objects to the correct position with less tedious aggrevation!! grrrrrrr

This problem has cost me a lot of time in the help section, the forum and above all re-aligning all of by pages so the text and images don't get cropped when going to print.

The only thing I can think of is the previous person set up the document with a single A master for the left side and a single B master for the right side of page. Maybe if they had used a spread master i wouldn't have this problem.

Best of luck Jennifer. Hope we can get this resolved!!
