Inserting Paypal buttons and customizing
I'm hoping that I can get a major question answered about the Contribute
program and incorporating Paypal buttons (shopping cart & checkout).
I'm far along in the development of "product pages". I've inserted "Add to
Cart" buttons and "View Cart" buttons in all the necessary locations.
Now, here is the problem. Contribute allows you to insert the Paypal buttons,
however this process automatically sets me up with Paypal's "Payment Standard"
shopping cart / checkout service. With this, the customer can:
1. Go to view a product at the "product page", which I develop in
contribute.
2. Click the "Add to Cart" buttons, where they get taken to Paypals
shopping cart
system.
* With Paypal's "payment standard" system, nowhere does it allow ME the
devoloper to
incorporate any minimum purchase requirements, which is what I want to
do with
my online store.
Bye the way... I've tried contacting Web Assist (the deveopers of the
Paypal/Contribute interface, and I'm waiting for a response.

Re: Inserting Paypal buttons and customizing
Sorry LIB2008 that I can't answer your question but I have one of my own on
paypal. I'm from New Zealand and wanted to ad a shopping cart. I have a paypal
account but contribute only offers to let me accept payment in US, Canadian,
Australian dollars or British pounds. A fat lot of use to me when I'm only
selling locally. Does anyone know how to enable other currencies? I have NZ
dollars enabled on my paypal account so I don't think that is the problem.
