Default Install Dreamweaver extension into Contribute?

I heard from folks that it's possible to create extensions for Contribute, or
use Dreamweaver extensions in Contribute. But I can't find any official word on
this. Is it possible? I have need to create a custom upload/link manager for my
company, and I would rather make use of all the nice features that Contribute
already offers and not have to build it just to have a custom upload/link
manager. From the Extension Manager, I only see my Dreamweaver and Flash
    installs, but not my Contribute.

    Help anyone?
